Our Mission

Ligonier First Church of the Brethren is a community of believers who seek to walk passionately with Christ by reaching out in his name, preaching and sharing His Gospel, teaching all to live like Him.

Our Vision

Because we are the Family of God and the Body of Christ... we seek to be a Church where each one will have support and care from the community when they face trials and hardship, and where each one will commit themselves to be a fruitful member of the Body.

Because God alone is worthy of praise... we seek to be a church that provides a passionate atmosphere of worship where God's people develop a hunger for the living God and His Word, and where they will encourage others to have a meaningful walk with Christ.
(Psalm 42:1-5; Psalm 100; John 4:21-24; Hebrews 13:15; Romans 12:1-2)

Because all God's people are blessed with gifts from above... we seek to be a church where everyone will find those gifts and use them creatively to serve in the ministries of the church and to do acts of kindness for others in Christ's name.

 Because God commissions us to go... we seek to be a church where no one within our reach of influence has not heard the Gospel of Jesus, being welcoming to seekers who come, inviting to those who are yet to come, and developing a heart for a wider mission beyond our community.

Because the Bible is the living Word of God... we seek to be a church where we teach in such a way that we are transformed, not just informed, and where we help each one to grow themselves in God's Word and in prayer, so that we produce mature followers of Christ who live out their faith in every aspect of their lives.
